Dunebox dashboard showing the web server, five PHP versions and multiple databases all running

Five PHP versions and every major database — running at once

PHP 5.6 7.4 8.2 8.3 8.5 MySQL MariaDB PostgreSQL MongoDB Redis

What you get

An entire stack, settled into the sand.

One folder holds your web server, every PHP version, your databases and the tools around them — already wired together.

Every PHP version at once

5.6 · 7.4 · 8.2 · 8.3 · 8.5 side by side. php, artisan and composer pick the project's version automatically.

Many databases, together

MySQL 9.6 + 8.0 + 5.7 + MariaDB at the same time, each on its own port — plus PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis when you want them.

Claude integration

Drive Dunebox from Claude Code or Claude Desktop — list and create hosts, manage Cron Jobs and read logs. In Claude Code it also runs artisan and composer on the right PHP.

Local domain + green HTTPS

mysite.test in seconds with a trusted certificate, Apache (or nginx) per site.

Built-in web tools

phpMyAdmin manages all MySQL/MariaDB instances; phpRedisAdmin and Mailpit catch the rest.

Cron Jobs

A guided editor — no crontab syntax. Per-project jobs live in git and travel with the repo.

Truly portable

Everything in one folder. Move it, copy it, carry it on a USB stick — no installer, no service.

Dev tools, official channels

Git, Node, nvm, Python and FFmpeg via winget; Composer bundled and always on the right PHP.

Optional local DNS

Turn on wildcard DNS and every *.test resolves automatically — no hosts file.

From zip to running in minutes

Four steps. One UAC prompt.

01

Download the zip

Grab the latest dunebox-vX.Y.Z.zip from the Releases page.

02

Extract anywhere

We recommend C:\dunebox. That folder becomes its home.

03

Open dunebox.exe

A short wizard lets you choose language, packages, ports and paths.

04

It configures itself

Dunebox downloads everything and wires it up. One confirmation for hosts + certificate.

Download Dunebox.
It's freeware.

Free to use, built for Laravel and PHP developers on Windows. No installer, no Windows service — to remove it, quit Dunebox and delete the folder.
